When NaNoWriMo turns ugly.

Every region in the world that's large enough in participants, has an ML - a Municipal Liaison, someone whose task it is to whip their regional participants into shape and throw NaNo writing get togethers and whatnot.
When one of those ML's gets a bit too free about her choice of words, bad things happen. Bad things that piss off NaNos who already have a lot of frustration ahead of them, and certainly do not need. What exactly happened is below the break.

And this year's NaNoWriMo 
is going to be different. Rather than writing 50.000 words of utter tripe, I've decided to type up all of the stories left untyped (meaning, they're still only in my Moleskine and nowhere else) and edit them. And in addition to that, I'll be writing new stories to fill their wordcount up to 50.000.

It's the 4th time already, it's time for OMGRawk 2008, the recurring 24-hour comic event Ben and I keep getting ourselves suckered into. By ourselves. Damn us.
Anyway, there's a webcam link to those who are interested in badgering us (please do, distraction is sorely needed from time to time), and it's fun to watch two dudes draw comics for 24 hours straight, right?

After seeing some more spam comments appear on a friend's somery blog, I've decided to pick up on Somery development once again. There are certain tricks to doing this, however, several ways of going at it, and so far I've only been considering the wrong ones. Read on for some information on what (in my opinion) Somery is currently doing wrong or lacks, and how I intend to fix it.

Writing Update

As far as stories go, I'm in content-lock mode, meaning that unless something leaks out, I'm not going to spend a lot of time writing the coming months. If I get awesome ideas, I'll jot 'm down in my moleskine for later, but I need to focus on getting my stories print-ready.
Now, what IS little old Robin working on?

About 8 months ago, I felt I needed to do something about my physical condition. I wanted to lose weight and train my joints - my knees in specific. Two of my friends had also been considering getting a subscription to a gym, and we decided to do it together. We went into it enthusiastically and planning to do some good, hard work there and get ourselves back into shape. It started off fairly well, but not long after my resolve waned and not long after disappeared.
